I’m always on the lookout for the next great personal finance book to recommend to family and friends, so whenever I have the chance to review one, I jump at it. This was the case with the latest personal finance book to come across my desk, Wealthing Like Rabbits: An Original Introduction to Personal Finance
Instead you’ll find a light and easy going book about personal finance, full of good general wisdom (although a little light on the step-by-step how-to’s) and hilarious and relevant pop culture references. Any book that mentions zombies and The West Wing multiple times is going to be a hit with me. This book is an easy read and I sailed through it (even though I took a ten day break to go to France.) Even the chapters that are traditionally more boring like insurance and mortgages, where easy to get and I didn’t ever find myself bored.
Above all else, I felt like Wealthing Like Rabbits is a great introductory personal finance book to read if you want to get jazzed up and excited about personal finance. It’s inspiring, light, witty, and leaves you feeling like you have the power conquer the world of personal finance and start wealthing like a rabbit.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking to renew their enthusiasm about money management and learn some interesting lessons along the way.
