This week was very middle of the road for me. I managed to make up for the overspending that I did on Victoria Day weekend, which is good. But I had a terrible time sleeping and as a result I didn’t wake up as early as I’m used to on weekdays. I’m pretty consistent with my 6am wake-up calls, but this week was an exception.
I was just feeling very tired, and I’ve been having issues with lower back pain. These two factors combined means I hit the snooze button more times than I care to admit. Despite this, I still tried very hard to hit my goals for eating well, exercising, and meditating.
Here are my big wins and losses of the week:
Big Wins of the Week
I brought in some more freelance income, which I used pay for the overspending on Victoria day (my husband also worked a few hours of overtime which was a huge help). This extra cash is why I love freelancing. I don’t count the money in my budget, so it’s all windfall money that helps me buy things I want, or achieve goals.
Big Losses of the Week
No big losses this week. Even though I’ve been feeling under the weather, I haven’t been drawn to spend money on convenience foods, I’ve toed our budgeting line pretty well, which I’m happy about.
Content I Loved This Week
Being a sleepy lady means I didn’t get much blog reading done either. Any moment I had free this week, I spent trying to get my daily goals of meditating, exercising, eating well and reading out of the way. Something had to give, and blog reading was what got pushed aside.
Tell me about your week? Any big wins? Any big losses? I want to know!
