This April marks my third anniversary of blogging. Three years have come and gone, and I’ve continued to type my stories and share them with you.
When I started this blog, I had no idea where it was going. All I knew is that I felt like I was drowning under the weight of my debt. I needed an outlet to share my struggle and stop feeling so alone.
My blog was my buddy, my partner, and my way to connect with people who made me feel like maybe I could pay off $38,000 in debt, and maybe I wasn’t crazy for trying.
In three years, I’ve come a long way. I’ve paid off $38,000 in debt. On top of that, I’ve saved $25,000. I’ve increased my income by 40% and developed a side hustle that makes up 20% of my overall cash flow. But that’s nothing compared to the people I’ve met and the experiences I’ve had that came directly from this blog. I’m so thankful for the opportunities this blog has brought me, and I want to keep giving you guys great content.
So what now? What’s next for me and this blog?
Don’t worry, I’m not going to mosey off into the sunset just yet. I still have things to say, and if one of my stories convinces just one more person to get serious with their debt repayment, then I want to keep writing. I just feel like I need an extra project, some more oomph. Something new.
